Fatal floors?

with doom builder how can i make a floor that kills you instantly?

there is no such thing. instead, you make a warp pad that teleports you onto a second player 1. this way you telefrag yourself. therefore, you kill yourself

That is only true if He was Editing for Doom 2. If He is editing for Zdoom (doom in hexen format) Then you set the sector to " Kills instantly" Or something to that effect.

Sector Set damage to be precise.

Zdoom, Edge, Jdoom, surely Legacy, of course GZdoom, most probably Eternity, Vavoon, and probably more.

ZDoom has an instant death sector type so you don't need that.

You can always make a teleporter that teleports you into a group of stacked barrles. That explostio nshould kill you instantly. Monsters wont telefrag things, usually, so there're no worry about them screwing the map up.

Teleporting into a voodoo doll is more efficient as it causes no explosion.
