Mivalekan Posted March 29, 2006 So I started playing this map, and from what I've played, it kicks ass. But aside from that, for some reason in the middle of play my computer spontaneously reboots. Is this because of the map or Legacy itself? 0 Share this post Link to post
kristus Posted March 29, 2006 Well, I've never had Legacy reboot my computer. What are your system specifications? 0 Share this post Link to post
Graf Zahl Posted March 29, 2006 Mivalekan said:Is this because of the map or Legacy itself? Considering that you are not the only one having problems with Legacy it's safe to say that it's Legacy. There's nothing in the WAD that could cause a reboot. 0 Share this post Link to post
Ezxariarch Posted March 30, 2006 If you're running in GL legacy, the computer reboots at times or jsut goes "Segment Violation!" on random. It's similar to running the newer Zdooms with a older computer. Try downloading the latest drivers and see. Also, if you computer is really-REALLY old, legacy will cause a reboot as well. This happened to be when My super old computer tried to run legacy. 0 Share this post Link to post
iori Posted March 30, 2006 Reboots? If you are using XP I would suggest going to your Sytem Properties > Starup and Recovery menu and turning off Automatic Restart. If it works, your computer will display a blue screen rather than reboot itself, and you can see in which file or module the problem lies. 0 Share this post Link to post
