Skeletor Posted May 20, 2006 List some of your favorite cartoons and why you like them. 1.)Aeon Flux 2.)Daria 3.)Home Movies Aeon Flux - It's funny because I went in to watching Aeon Flux with this notion that it was a battle between Aeon who is working to fight off against an oppressive government led by Trevor. Instead, I got this philosophical, unclear of who is bad, type material...and I loved it. I was surprised as I watched from one episode to the next the relationship between Aeon and Trevor getting deeper. I gradually really started to like Trevor and ended up being probably my favorite character in the cartoon. Daria Funny, cynical humor. Home Movies I love Home Movies because not only is it funny but its appropriate and enjoyable for both kids and adults. 0 Share this post Link to post
AndrewB Posted May 20, 2006 Erkay, let's see: 1) King Of The Hill; redneck texas humor without retarded conservatives 2) Flintstones -- what other G rated cartoons had subject matter such as organized crime, murders, insurance fraud, attempted suicide, etc? Awesome for that and more. Too bad I haven't seen an episode in 10+ years. 3) Simpsons before they outsourced their animation to India. 0 Share this post Link to post
Captain Red Posted May 20, 2006 Futurama: Props for being one of the only TV shows to include an AYB referance (before AYB was run into the ground) deserved at least one more season (or a movie *fingers crossed*). The Simpsons: I'll be kind and say that it was still funny untill about season 9. Cowboy Beebop: The anime for people who don't like anime. 0 Share this post Link to post

Remilia Scarlet Posted May 20, 2006 These days, I'd say these are my favorites: -Serial Experiments Lain: I love this show's storyline, artwork, and music. I just wish I could figure out what happened to Lain's sister. -Onegai Teacher: I have a thing for teachers. Plus, it's pretty funny at times. -Futurama: Mainly I like this one for its humor and references. When you're greeted by that level of idiocy every time you walk out the door, watching a TV show about it is just painfull. 0 Share this post Link to post
kristus Posted May 20, 2006 Simpsons Futurama Family guy are all sweet. Boondocks are a pretty intrestic show too. But I don't feel particularly amorous about any comic shows. Would be nice if they showed some nice cyberpunk shows on the tv where I live. 0 Share this post Link to post
