Kaiser Posted May 28, 2006 For those who ever want to uncensor doom for the Gameboy Advance can finally do it. Grn2Red is a tool that modifies the censored textures and sprites back into its oringinal form (based on the jaguardoom resources). You'll need a utility to extract the rom from your game cartridge in order to do the patching.. Parameters are as follows grn2red.exe <path of rom> Simple as that. The modified rom will be saved on the main drive (c:\) linky: http://home.houston.rr.com/svkaiser/grn2red.zip screenies: enjoy.. and stuff. 0 Share this post Link to post

Bashe Posted May 29, 2006 Wow, man...I used it and I have to say that it is just amazing what people can do. Now if only you could fix certain SFX and the music... :D 0 Share this post Link to post
Epyo Posted May 29, 2006 GJ guys now the ESRB is gonna roll in and change it back to M. Real nice. 0 Share this post Link to post
Bashe Posted May 29, 2006 Heh, I wouldn't be surprised if that happened, considering it's happened twice now with other games. 0 Share this post Link to post
Grazza Posted May 29, 2006 Except there it was content within the game being used (albeit, at least in the recent case, in a way that it was never intended to be). Here it is being added from an external source - a genuine add-on. Moreover, this isn't exactly a new or high-profile game, as in the well-known cases. 0 Share this post Link to post

Doom_user Posted May 29, 2006 This is slightly off-topic, but is there anywhere else where I can download the jagEdit program? The original link no longer works. http://home.houston.rr.com/svkaiser/Doom/jagEdit.zip 0 Share this post Link to post

Kaiser Posted May 30, 2006 it can do Psx Final Doom also, since its the same thing as Psxdoom. 0 Share this post Link to post

Dyne Posted June 5, 2006 Has anyone used that tool to replace the doom maps? If you use some good 1994 maps they should be able to run on gba doom. 0 Share this post Link to post
Kaiser Posted June 5, 2006 grn2red can't do that but gbadmake, another tool I made, can. You can find it floating around somewhere on the internet. 0 Share this post Link to post
