DeumReaper Posted July 4, 2006 Or you can open one of the .pk3 files that has the song (it's title.ogg theme.ogg or whatever) You can also convert the OGG to an MP3 if you want too. 0 Share this post Link to post

insertwackynamehere Posted July 4, 2006 open it the same way you would a ZIP file, they are really the same actually. Or just choose to "Explore" the pk file so you dont have to unzip everything and when you come across the song, just unzip a copy of that. 0 Share this post Link to post
JonTTu111 Posted July 5, 2006 I can't find that pk where that music is. I watched every folder wha I can find. 0 Share this post Link to post
DeumReaper Posted July 5, 2006 Ok, just looked; I found it in Doom 3\base\pak003.pk4\sound\musical\d3theme.ogg You could change it to MP3 (if you want) using a converter found off google mainly for the purpose of MP3 players that don't play OGG 0 Share this post Link to post

JonTTu111 Posted July 5, 2006 Thanks reaper. I don't understand why I didn't find it. 0 Share this post Link to post
Quasar Posted July 5, 2006 Vanilla DOOM doesn't play OGGs OR MP3s. Eternity, on the other hand, can play both. And I'm pretty sure ZDoom can play them too. So in other words, I see absolutely no reason to incur the penalty of recompressing it. 0 Share this post Link to post
