funduke Posted August 14, 2006 Just copy the iwad manually to your harddrive. If there are also problems with the installation of doom95, you can get it from here: http://www.doomworld.com/idgames/index.php?id=7053 Place all Iwads from the cd in the doom95 -folder (if you want to use that), and you're ready to play. myk Posted August 14, 2006 Close the installer (it usually opens when you insert the disc), go to and right click the CD icon (should look like the marine's face) and choose Explore, and you'll find the folders for the three games in there. Copy the three folders onto your hard drive. Each will contain all the necessary files to run each game. 0 Share this post Link to post

If the error message is an exact copy & paste, then there's your problem: there's no "plutonian.wad" file, with 9.3 characters, and there never has been. I own the Final Doom Replay release, and for Final DOom you should have TNT.WAD and PLUTONIA.WAD (8.3 characters maximum). Unless you added the extra "-n" yourself, then the problem is quickly solved by manual copying or, if you're so inclined, remastering the original CD and correcting the setup script (if the error is in the script). 0 Share this post Link to post
