That file refuses to play in winamp. So I dunno.

Because it's a MIDI file; mplayer2.

This is the last time I trust someone else about troubles with winamp. Winamp 2.9.5 (in_midi.dll version 3.03) plays the midi file absolutely fine.

People probably think I'm some Microsoft mind-slave, but I use the latest version of WMP for all my videos and midi. I've grown to love it.

Winamp (the full version at least) has included a MIDI input plugin for years.

I know but that's like using Flash 9 to play AVI's and WMV's, or FrontPage to write a text file.
