Team Demise digs itself up.......

Just an update from my site on what I'm up to. There are some 'new' projects that are almost done. I have been working on them at a slow steady flow due to interests in other life events. I have taken some screenshots so you can see what i'm trying to finish up. One of these projects is actually a upcoming rerelease of an 11 wad compilation titled 'Project Slipgate: The Special Edition' which should be completed this year. The changes you will see in this 'Special Edition' is improved architectural details added, animated floor and texture warping, fixed texture misalignments and a new 12th secret level added.

Those are really really dark screenshots. BTW you are the greatest mapper of all time in case you didn't know. Just making sure.

I have a feeling those look good but I can't actually see anything except some lights and the sky in a couple shots.

Like the others have said, the screenshots are too dark. However, from what I could see, the maps look great. Definitely looking forward to an update. :)

I can see them just fine. Lots of brown.

Color correction on the graphics card is a nice feature. But what's the improvement on Project Slipgate? To me it looks mostly like the old version.

Screens show up fine for me looking pretty damn good nice architecture.

DOOM has that thing, where to one a level is very dark, and to another bright, depending on monitor specs and settings. I think many (CRT?) monitors are simply too dark (the lower range of DOOM's lighting scale becomes useless on them).

The problem here is that the dark pictures are on white background. Even the best monitors can't handle that well.

I thought that was more one of the human eye's limitations. The same concept as looking into a forest from the outside on a bright day.

I can't see shit. If they're that dark, you might as well put them on a page with a black background.

Yeah....sorry about those dark pics. I just got a new lcd monitor and we all know LCD monitors have poor black levels that makes dark images look brighter than they really are. These wads should be done soon.
