SlatheDoomer Posted November 10, 2006 I have begun to work on a 32 level project. Here is a screenshot from the first level. http://img294.imageshack.us/img294/4458/doom0094ll0.png I have a problem though. How do I fix this?: http://img366.imageshack.us/img366/7109/doom0095qi8.png Any comments and suggestions? Thanks in advance for the help, SlatheDoomer 0 Share this post Link to post
EarthQuake Posted November 10, 2006 That's a slimetrail. Move the offending vertex or try a different nodesbuilder or nodesbuilder configuration. This is just one of those things that happen in Doom. 0 Share this post Link to post
Catoptromancy Posted November 14, 2006 I have seen this on 3 lifts, lowering into a much lower room. Probably alot more but cant remebmer. If nodebuilders fail.. I figured out to make a sector outlining the wall/area of the slimetrail. For example a big square lift that when lowered is in middle of room will/might have trails. I made a 2 pixel wide sector just inside the edge of the wall and lift. This will create a tiny unnoticable gap, but trails are gone. This trick works on a few instances and you might have to be creative to get results. 0 Share this post Link to post
