Bucket Posted November 25, 2006 This film is goddamn brilliant. Extremely emotional and thought-provoking. Darren Aronofsky scores again. Definitely a 'buy on DVD and watch multiple times' movie. Has anyone else here seen it? 0 Share this post Link to post
Snarboo Posted November 25, 2006 Haven't even heard of it. What's the basic jist? 0 Share this post Link to post
Lüt Posted November 25, 2006 I wasn't planning on it, since Requiem was one of the most passable movies I'd seen that year and not much later I blacklisted Aronofsky after forcing myself through Pi, then got a reminder of why I didn't like anything he was remotely involved with when I saw his name in the closing credits for Below. But enough people I know are saying it's good, and the plot info I dug up from imdb sounded interesting, so maybe. 0 Share this post Link to post
Sharessa Posted November 25, 2006 Yeah, I need to see this. This and Casino Royale are the two movies out right now that I need to watch. 0 Share this post Link to post

One is kind of existential and symbolic, while the other is biblical and epic. I prefer the latter, as I think it suits the presentation and atmosphere. 0 Share this post Link to post
