That is a big issue with China and Korea. This is kind of like Germany saying there were no concentration camps under the Nazi regime.

Japan has returned to the hubris of its imperial days. Nascent nationalism demands the denial of all stains on the nation's hands. This kind of attitude could easily lead to the past repeating itself.

Why do US house members care? Maybe Japan should pass a nonbinding resolution that says the US should pay back all decendants of African slaves, their due reparations.

Or just a nonbinding resolution that the US military should quit occupying Japanese territory, unless Japan is similarly allowed to place its own such bases within US territory.

I thought Japan didn't have a military, as per the conditions of the post WWII peace treaty.

They have a defense force that can only operate on Japanese soil, except for rendering humanitarian aid. There are some notions drifting around to amend the constitution to allow their military to engage on foreign soil (read North Korea).

5 acres and a horse, then. I get pissed off when all these welfare cases and gangbangers come up and are like "Yo homes gimme my money" and expect to be provided for for their entire lives because they're too lazy to work and expect everything to be given to them. Stuff from 100 years ago does not justify that kind of reparations.

I have family members who were holocaust survivors and no one is paying them anything. Then again, Jews cause all the problems in the world and have all the money according to a lot of people regardless of race and religion. They say Israel is a token of empathy from the world for the Jews who are always complaining about everything. Ironically I hear more complaints from people who are racist against Jews than Jews themselves, and it seems that the people who aren't ahead complain more.

The reason people think Jews are taking over the world is because they are in a lot of powerful businesses, no doubt about it. But it's not because it's a conspiracy, it's because they seem to be the only people resilient enough to suck it up and not waste a couple generations bitching about their past which was thousands of years of exile.

Japan killed more Chinese civillians in Nanking than the death toll of Hiroshima and Nagasaki combined.

Plus, like it or not, that was an act of war. Yeah, it was a civilian target and shit, but all in all, it was an act of war. What they did was force civilians to fuck their soldiers, which is NOT an act of war.

Well, different societies create different terms for what is justifiable. I don't imagine you'd find Kamikaze piloting to be justifiable.

Actually, it's "justified, and "unjustified" (at least according to the American congress). If war (or nuking) is justifiable, I fail to see how rape cannot be justifiable.
