Sharessa Posted March 29, 2007 What the fuck? New music that doesn't suck? And is unique? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IpGp-22t0lU Apparently they have an album that's floating around on the internet now. I need to get this. 0 Share this post Link to post
Bucket Posted March 29, 2007 Well, I wouldn't say it sucks... but it looks like someone missed out on the REAL New Wave movement. See, in the late 80s and early 90s when everyone loved synthpop, there was a whole other thing going on where people were actually experimenting with new sounds. Short version: listen to XTC or check out a genre called Rock In Opposition. 0 Share this post Link to post
Joe Posted March 29, 2007 I liked it apart from the retarded effect they put on the voice. 0 Share this post Link to post

myk Posted April 13, 2007 Bucket said: But you listen to death metal anyway? Does not compute. Some bands have good lyrics, even with "thoughts behind them". And even some of the cliché and repetitive ones are decent or fitting in the way they are written and in how they combine with the music. 0 Share this post Link to post
BattleCat Posted May 15, 2007 Bucket said:But you listen to death metal anyway? i suggest you try looking here: http://www.darklyrics.com/d/death.html Everything from "Spiritual Healing" and later. Awesome stuff imho. 0 Share this post Link to post
spank Posted May 21, 2007 It's called Mirrored, I've already listened to it and really recommend it. It's the wackiest stuff I've heard lately (I was hoping the new !!! was more like their last one but it had more restraint). 0 Share this post Link to post
TimeOfDeath Posted May 25, 2007 I was a bit reluctant at first, but by the end of the Battles song it had grown on me and is still in my head. A year or two ago a friend sent me three of their instrumental songs (SZ2, B + T, HI / LO) from their EPs and I prefer those at the moment. 0 Share this post Link to post
