Anybody know the author of DooM 3 enemies to DooM2 wad?

I haven't foundet yet maps to thoose sprites, so I think that I could do them with my friends. All we need is his approvement for doing that.

What's this you speak of? Someone made sprite version of the DOOM III enemies for DOOM II?

Or am I reading wrong here?

...this is a very nice piece of work. I LOVE the warp gate effects too! :)

The weapons need alot of work. It looks like he got a little lazy when it came to modifying the stronger enemies.

And turning the arachnotron into a trite is stupid.

I think this is the coolest weapon and monster mod what I ever seen. You can use grenades too. But without the reloading trick this is not perfect.

Personally I would not have used that particular level to demonstrate it on Youtube considering that there are a lot of ZDOOM and GzDOOM virgins on there.

I would have used it with Genesis of Descent or something, that is a lot closer to the DOOM III look and feel than the level used here.

What's the best way to record DOOM in action anyhow?

I'm the author of these monster sprites, someone ripped me. They were used with far better of these weapons in DOOM 2.5 (and Edge mod that you can download at the web site at my profile, http://www.doom25.cjb.net/ ).

I really hate that Zdoom/Skulltag version, it just ruin it all making it look like a mediocre jocke wad.

There are many monster sprites that were never included in the uploaded versions of DOOM 2.5 (such as the Hell Knight, Vagary, Guardian, Chainsaw Zombie, and Others), that's why there are missing characters (yet not all monster sprites were adapted to sprites).

If you want to make levels I have no complain, the only condition we ask is to use the original sprites and code from DOOM 2.5, which require you to map for Edge (but you don't need to use 3d floors). It just look like crap without Edge dynamic lights, and DOOM 2.5 codes and textures (ripped from DOOM 3).

Vegeta I believe that your page has expired, I'm just seeing job apps for Teen acting and such.

If these were for edge and looked better in edge then perhaps converting them to GZDOOM in Hi-Rez would not be so much in vein? Just a thought.

I'd be interested in practicing with that if I could aquire your original work.

I'm still tinkering with Hi-Rez sprites as we speak with little luck, but eventually I WILL have it down eventually!
