ZDooM and mp3

I still cant get to ZDooM use mp3 musics. It allways uses games midi and im 100% sure that i renamed files correctly.

If it still doesn't play your 'properly renamed' MP3's they are either not properly renamed or you made some other mistake. It's hard to diagnose though.

@ DooM Droid- Zdoom, yes, can play music, BUT...The only music it CAN play is Midi music, accounting from one of the wads i've played, had bg music in midi-ish form, 'Take me home' from Phil Collins,I think the wad was called 'Dimensions of Time' ? But alas i'm not sure. You may have to find a converter or make your own OR find one off the net, though I think not legal unless autherized...

@MD: zdoom CAN play a variety of music formats, including: MP3s, OGGs, Wavs, and others. No idea where you got the idea that ZDoom could only play MIDIs...

@DD: Maybe if you send me a copy of the wad I can see what the problem is...

If all else fails just use the ACS command:

setmusic("name");

try to use a wav file the same way as you would with that mp3. If it fails then this hole thing has to be your own error. Zdoom can play mp3's and wav files and some other formats.
