WinTex Problem

I never encountered this problem before, but when I try to start WinTex (I'm using version 4.3), I get an error that says "File Error: Cannot find VBRUN300.DLL".

I searched the internet trying to find that file but can't seem to locate it.

Help?

Download VBRUN300.DLL from your favourite dll download site, put it in your WinTex folder. Simple really.

Do a search of your hard-drive. There usually is a copy you can copy into the Wintex folder.

I'd also suggest doing a search of the interent for a newer tool. Wintex is very old and out dated. I'd suggest XWE or SLumped.

I do too. I don't see any reason to stop using WinTex. For what it was designed, it worked great, and still does.

There should've been a DLL in a compressed folder along with the download for WinTex. There was for me at least.
