Epyo Posted July 23, 2007 http://www.multivax.com/last_question.html read it while eating lunch. takes about 15 minutes? Ryan North of QWANTZ which I adore linked to it after two comics in a row about the heat death of the universe: July 18 and July 19. Actually, the second one isn't so much about the heat death of the universe, but just the end of the universe. it's a good story 0 Share this post Link to post
BoldEnglishman Posted July 24, 2007 Wow. Basically a story based on the fact that some people believe history to be made up of cycles. Well, at least this gives me an answer to anyone who said "What was before the Big Bang" :P 0 Share this post Link to post
Sharessa Posted July 24, 2007 This is the only Asimov I've ever read. Kind of funny. 0 Share this post Link to post

alexz721 Posted July 25, 2007 Pretty good short story. Covering trillions of years in only a few pages. Can't say the ending was unexpected though. 0 Share this post Link to post
Enjay Posted July 25, 2007 Yeah, very obvious where it was going by the time the second story started. Not bad though. Very 1950's. 0 Share this post Link to post

Sharessa Posted July 26, 2007 Another awesome cyclical story is "All You Zombies" by Heinlein. The title has weird punctuation, but I can't remember it. Anyway, I like it better and it's just as quick of a read. 0 Share this post Link to post

Naked Snake Posted July 26, 2007 Asimov was a dreamer. I wonder what he'd think of the Computer Age as mature as it is in 2007? He'd probably be fapping it to porn. 0 Share this post Link to post
Plonker Posted July 27, 2007 the foundation trilogy is the only asimov Ive read, at the time I thought those books were brilliant, couldnt put them down. 0 Share this post Link to post

I guess it didn't help that you said it was a cyclical story. It also feels somewhat cliched at this point due to there being far too many time travel stories in general. Probably was better to read when it first came out. 0 Share this post Link to post
