VileSlay Posted December 25, 2007 Just wondering what everyone got for x-mas. I got the movie 300 from my mom and what i got from my brother can only be descibed in the following epic: My brother gives me the box and I tear off the wrapping paper only to find another layer of wrapping paper underneath. I rip that off and find a couple of layers of newspaperwith a note that says "hang in there" with hearts and a lipstick kiss. I tear thru the rest of the wrapping and open the box, and inside, laying in a bed of packing peanuts, is a small box and another larger box both wraped. the smaller box had a note that said "POWER UP". when I unwrap that it's a box of strawberry flavored pocky, but with a candy cane inside. I tackle the other box, which is wrapped like the first box. under one layer of paper is a note that says "the gift is hurting", a reference to an SNL cartoon. I tear thru the layers and find that is an eggo waffles box. I open that to find a bunch of torn up, balled up wrapping paper, which I dump out, and find what looks like a gift wrapped x-mas card. I'm thinkin "all this for a gift card". I unwrap the the card and find that it's wrapped in tinfoil, of all things. I rip that off, open the envelope and find a card with a picture of Toad saying "I'm sorry, but your gift is in another castle." my brother then produces another gift box. this one is wrapped similarly to the first. I tear thru it and open the box. inside, wrapped in bubble wrap, is another wrapped item. I open that and FINALLY, I am rewarded with Fatal Revenant, book two in the Final Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliver by Stephen R. Donaldson. damn, typing all that was almost as much work as the unwrapping. 0 Share this post Link to post

Vile Posted December 25, 2007 From my girlfriend's family... or rather, now my best friend's family :( A new coat A new sweater Several T-Shirts Whistle Key Finder There doesn't seem to be any reviews for that product so allow me... it goes on your keychain and if you somehow lose you keys, which I never did anyway, just whistle and it'll make a loud noise and a light will go off. However, there are multiple things that set off the key-finder anyway, making it more annoying than helpful: - Running water - Loud laughing or swearing - Dogs barking - Music playing - Complete silence! - The wind outside (set it off three times from my car to the door of the house) It was nice of her grandma to get me something, though. It's not like she knew it talks too much. 0 Share this post Link to post
exp(x) Posted December 25, 2007 My wife got me this for our car. It compliments my flying spaghetti monster emblem quite nicely. She also got me the PBF comic book. Even though I had read all of the strips online at one point or another, it's fucking awesome. 0 Share this post Link to post

Well, now we're just getting into the cheap stocking-stuffer gifts, so I'll just stop. There's some unofficial shared gifts I'm enjoying. My brother got Guitar Hero III and Call of Duty 4 for the XBOX360. I own the 360 and the GH controller, which almost makes them my gifts with my brother's name on them, and it makes me feel like spoiled prick. 0 Share this post Link to post
