AirRaid Posted December 31, 2007 Okay that lame joke is out of the way. Just thought I'd get it over with. 0 Share this post Link to post

Grazza Posted January 1, 2008 I guess this must be the New Year thread, and so the right place for this... I noticed this on CNN.com's main page: Is it just me, or is that a yellow skull key in the middle of the Sydney Harbour Bridge? And more strictly on-topic: 1680x1050 on my normal notebook, and 1366x768 on my new ultraportable. 0 Share this post Link to post

Sporku Posted January 1, 2008 Normally it'd be 2304x1024 spanning across two monitors (one of which being 1280x1024 and the other 1024x768), but right now my 360 is hooked up to the larger of the two monitors, so my desktop is currently a measly 1024x768. Don't really use my computer much these days anyway, so it's not like I really mind. 0 Share this post Link to post

VileSlay Posted January 1, 2008 heh, well I was 800x600, but I recently switched to 1024x768. 0 Share this post Link to post
Dr. Zin Posted January 1, 2008 I'm 800x600 on my desktop, and something like 1280x1024 on my new laptop. 0 Share this post Link to post

Maes Posted January 1, 2008 For most tasks, I'm still happy with 1024*768 on a 17-19" CRT, and I don't go beyond 800*600 on smaller screens unless the job calls for it. Also most people's understanding of dpi = fail. *cough cough mac53 cough cough* 0 Share this post Link to post
