Doom 0.99 error

i'll most likely get no response from this, but...

I can't seem to load up Doom 0.99. It says "Z_ChangeTag: an owner is required for purgeable blocks". Does anyone know how to get around it?

Download the v1.9 patch.

Lut: i think he means the first version of the game, hes trying to get it to run, i dunno why? :/

Hes trying to run it so he can do stuff for UAC ressur-erection. Like he did with the beta levels.

If you're running it under Windows, don't; if you aren't, do.

He's trying to run it under Windows. That error pops up for all versions of Doom under v1.2.
