the cc4 subforum produces a 404 for me. im not sure if i even put this up in the right forum, but i was wondering if anyone else is getting this. sorry if this thread is a nuisance.

Same thing is happening to me. It's possible the the forum is being updated or something (?).

I got it too. I almost never visit that subforum so I can't say how long it's been like that, let alone why.

It was renamed today. I'm guessing the real "ID" URL needs to be associated to the one that uses the name.

ahh, i see, thank you very much. i saw the rename but i didnt know it was associated with the 404 deal, but had a feeling. thanks again.

Heh, forget it. I thought those address-bar names were auto-generated each time. I ran forum info and index updates and it's still broken, so I'll rename it back to CC4 for now.

The URL names are specified in .htaccess. Someone with FTP access has to change .htaccess while also renaming the forum.
