Need some feedback on some midis I've made

Recommended Posts

It appears its been almost a year now since I picked up the ways of guitar and got into music, so I decided to "purchase" myself a copy of guitar pro and put my skills to work. I have some pieces composed by my bandmates and I, some of these actually being just my works. Anyways onto the stuff!

Most of these are currently in the works and will defiantly get revised. Most of them don't have drum tracks at the moment.

Any feedback appreciated.

Well, it ain't Rembrandt. But that's partially because he was a painter.

I'm going to go ahead and say that they're good. They're simple, and they're very similar to each other, but whether those are positive or negative traits depends on how you use them. A collection of songs of this style would have made an excellent soundtrack for a small mapset in the late nineties.

These actually are a really good start, but they are lacking in bass. Using another instrument as bass (use your sub-woofer to test) will really make a huge impact on these pieces. Bass drums and picked/fingered bass guitar are what I use.

Keep workin' that shit. Some really neat riffs in there.
