chungy Posted March 15, 2009 This might be old news to some of you, but I just found it. Basically a computer contained entirely within the keyboard. It brings back some memories... (*cough* c64 *cough*) 0 Share this post Link to post
GreyGhost Posted March 15, 2009 I wonder how long the battery lasts between charges - or is it tethered to a power supply the size of a four-slice toaster? 0 Share this post Link to post
printz Posted March 15, 2009 From the description it seems to function like a laptop. 0 Share this post Link to post
EarthQuake Posted March 15, 2009 Definitely not one of those keyboards you want to slam off the desk when you get angry. 0 Share this post Link to post
Kirby Posted March 15, 2009 Holy crap, that thing looks about as sturdy as a breadstick. Be sweet as hell to see how it runs/works though 0 Share this post Link to post

It does remind me of the Commadore 64, and even Apple IIe days (more C64, though). The cool factor goes way up with a projector. :) 0 Share this post Link to post
Whoo Posted March 15, 2009 Doesn't look like it'd be worth buying. I bet it'll be up in the price range since its "super portable", and it'd just be better to buy a laptop. 0 Share this post Link to post
fraggle Posted March 16, 2009 Yeah, I saw news about this a couple of months back. Pretty neat. 0 Share this post Link to post

Eee stuff tends to be ridiculously cheap, so I'd tend to disagree. This doesn't fall under the category of "ultraportable," it's closer to a netbook, so I'd doubt it being over $400. 0 Share this post Link to post
Reisal Posted March 16, 2009 Looks thin enough to break over your knee. 0 Share this post Link to post

I'm sure you could; you can easily break normal laptops too, although it hurts your leg :P Really, there's a difference between normal abuse (dropping the device, for example) and malice (breaking over your knee). Most devices are not built to withstand malice. 0 Share this post Link to post
Technician Posted March 17, 2009 Yes, but do the keys clip off like my Zboard? Didn't think so. 0 Share this post Link to post
caco_killer Posted March 17, 2009 I'd like an Eee PC, but I don't know about that. 0 Share this post Link to post
