Walter confetti Posted September 17, 2009 Hello to all, just to acknowledge you about this project stated few days ago, Heretichan (the name coming from the congestion of Heretic and Japanese word -chan, means little or cute). Whatever, the main concept i have in my mind is to build a different scalar dimension trough the various episodes (episode one is in 386x386, e2 in 512x512 and so on). FIRST BETA (4 MAPS): http://www.speedyshare.com/934625502.html Texture Pack: http://www.doomworld.com/vb/wads-mods/43148-heretic-treasure-chest-please-fill-in-slots/ get it here shots from e1m1: http://img21.imageshack.us/i/screen...etic200909.png/ http://img183.imageshack.us/i/scree...etic200909.png/ http://img21.imageshack.us/i/screen...tic200909v.png/ Told me what do you think... 0 Share this post Link to post

Let me guess, you crossposted that on another forum, then selected the displayed text and copy/pasted it here instead of copying the original code? So the forum software that replaces part of a long URL by "..." to make it shorter on the screen and avoid layout-breaking problems that happen with overly-long unbreakable words destroyed the copy/pasted text. Luckily it wasn't too hard to guess what the missing part of the URL was, since something that starts by "scree" and continues with "etic" is probably "screenshotheretic"... http://img21.imageshack.us/i/screenshotheretic200909.png/ http://img183.imageshack.us/i/screenshotheretic200909.png/ http://img21.imageshack.us/i/screenshotheretic200909v.png/ 0 Share this post Link to post

printz Posted September 18, 2009 Why don't you try a 3968x3968, the same box size as Wolfenstein 3-D...? 0 Share this post Link to post
Walter confetti Posted September 20, 2009 printz said:Why don't you try a 3968x3968, the same box size as Wolfenstein 3-D...? Well, i read this and i think to build it in this way: e1:386x386 grid e2:512x512 grid e3:1024x1024 grid e4:2056x2056 grid e5:3968x3968 gridor you'll mean making all the maps in 3968x3968 grid? 0 Share this post Link to post
printz Posted September 20, 2009 Take note that size is already big enough to cover generic sized maps :) so I don't know... What you're saying by 384x384 grid is confusing. Do you mean as Maximum 384x384 map size, or with vertices always drawn on a 384 grid? 0 Share this post Link to post
