Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit's that time again!

Yes, Halloween is this month! and That means it's time to scare the shit out of little kids, and eat 'dey candy! (Please don't, save it for me this time.)

WE gots the classic poll up here, with a few more options for you adventurous types. I thought I'd kill off the ones that no one really answered, so I could get a better result.

But who cares about that! Halloween is a time for scares! Thrills! Ridiculous corn mazes! A good use of your hockey mask and chainsaw!

like always, to get you into the spirit, here's some awesomeness:

i-mockery.com always has some awesome, interesting Halloween stuff to check out. you can spend hours there!

http://www.halloween.com/ is always there. This is pretty much one of the oldest sites halloween-related on the internet. Awesome all the way.

So, are any of you guys doing anything awesome for Halloween? Or are you going to turn your lights out? Again? (party-pooper.) I will probably be handing out candy to the little kids and see what costumes they wear -- Costumes are a really good way of seeing what's "in" in the young world, since kids don't make their own costumes anymore. Such a shame. I saw so many spidermen last year. Kids are officially out of ideas.

So throw some stuff at me! Post some images! Youtube vids! Recommend some movies! Favorite Halloween candy! Favorite childhood costume! And please, check the poll out.

Edit: And for something even cooler for those who can do this, Please show us all a Halloween Themed WAD! That would be hella awesome. There was to be one for zdoom but I never saw anything come out of that.

Going to the Halloween rave, Get Freaky, at the Saltair. I can't stand children, so I wouldn't be involved in anything involving them even if I were staying home.

Halloween is a party day. I will go trick-or-treating first, then proceed to go to the party and gorge myself on my hard-earned candy.

You crazy Greeks. I'm working on Halloween.. but then that night I'm going to my buddy's place for a bonfire. So I guess that'll be fun. My neighborhood doesn't get trick-or-treaters anyhow, we're too out of the way for anyone to come down here.

Probably stick around at home, mabye hanging out with a friend at some point. I don't really do all that much on halloween, aside from eat candy, pumpkin pie, and anything else we have.

My brother and sister are going to try to make a sort of "maze" in the front yard to scare kids. I'll probably hand out candy as Buckethead while the other two jump out at people.

Saltair as in, in Utah? Any details on this event? I might be interested in going.

Going to an 18th birthday party on the 31st - the invite requests that I "wear something spooky". :P

If I had spare funds for an SS soldier costume and a broken MP40 SMG airsoft gun, I would answer the door with said costume on and give candy out if needed.

I don't know of any other Saltair than the one in Utah. Anyways, details, follow the link

Dress as an archvile. That would get you babes.

Yeah, if they're mean to you, you could kill them and use their bodies as masturbation devices, then resurrect them when you're done and it'll be like nothing happened. KIDDING

Dang. Too expensive. Would probably be too busy for my tastes anyway. Thanks for the link.

Won't know my exact plans until I get my schedule for the week. Looks like a Saturday, so this could be bad. Even if I work, my friends are likely having a party, and I'll just have to show up late. :P

Also, re: the last poll option...

Damn, beat me to it.

And since when was Halloween an American holiday? It's got plenty of Christian roots to it after it was hijacked from the Pagans.

Yeah, I'm surprised the "Halloween vs. Samhain" debate hasn't been brought up by some wannabe neopagan noobtard yet.

I'm getting completely into character - my costume this year is Philip Marlowe, Private Eye. Wandering around the dark streets, monologuing to myself, adjusting my fedora, and avoiding the mafia (though that's ridiculously easy since I'm pretty sure there is no mob presence in the Portland Metro area).
