MD2 Models

What are they? I have no idea but I see people talking about them all the time.

md2 models are sprites like the ones in quake 2

The whole point of md2 models is that they are not sprites! They're 3d models! Sprites are what you see in 2d in Doom, whereas md2 are what you see in quake 2.

True, my bad. But still, sprite or 3d models, I just shoot'em as they come. ;)

An md2 model is a 3d representation of a 2d image. If you want to see what one looks in-game while you're playing go download JDoom, JHeretic, JHeXen, ZDooMGL, or Vavoom.

I didn't knew it either until I realized that the models of Cube are in that format.It's cool because they are easy to change compare to sprites plus they look better.

It is a pity I won't be enjoying them cause I don't have an OpenGL compatible video card...meh...

You aren't missing much. Most of those models suck anyway.
