Would this be a good idea? (DOOM Bible game modifier)

Would it be a good idea, a mod that replaces weapons, items (some new artifacts may be), enemies, and some decorations with DOOM Bible related stuff to use with g/zdoom or skulltag compatible maps?
I think this for multiplayer games rather than single player.

About a million people have had this idea but I'm not sure anybody has ever followed through. Go for it.

What many people (included me) tried was to recreate also the maps, not just the actors and weapons (as now I'm aiming for). I find it more possible this way as the maps seems to be opposite to the laws of level making.

Problem is that the Doom bible is unfortunaly rather vague. There really isn't much detailed description in it. But i can't deny, after checking it out, that a game or mod based on it would be interesting.
