Use Posted June 14, 2010 You've got the formula for the worst party ever. Well done. 0 Share this post Link to post
Scet Posted June 14, 2010 Once again you have confirmed that you have the worst taste in music. 0 Share this post Link to post
Hellbent Posted June 14, 2010 Thanks guys. So do you have any music suggestions? What do you listen to at a party. 0 Share this post Link to post

Bank Posted June 14, 2010 I play this song at every party. Warm Leatherette, Nightclubbing, and Living my Life are fucking perfect albums. Then again I like chilling parties more than raging parties. 0 Share this post Link to post

Depends if I get to play DJ or not and who's attending the party. If I'm the DJ, and it's mostly friends, I'll put on mostly (good) trance music with some house thrown in, maybe some DJ Baby Anne to keep things fresh. Then intermingle it with some KMFDM, Ayria, and VNV Nation. Later on as the party dies down I'll transition the playlist to some Boards of Canada or something like that. If it's my extended family... stuff like this, this, or this. 0 Share this post Link to post
dew Posted June 14, 2010 delete your playlist and repeat anita ward's ring my bell for 6 hours 0 Share this post Link to post
Kirby Posted June 14, 2010 Not only is your list kinda strange, you seem to have excluded artist names from some songs while just plain misspelling others. On the other hand, a party? Just put on some Girl Talk (best part of this song is at 1:58 IMO) :P 0 Share this post Link to post
Snakes Posted June 14, 2010 When I party, this song normally gets involved at some point. 0 Share this post Link to post
wildweasel Posted June 14, 2010 Toss that entire playlist and replace it with some Daft Punk, Royksopp, Delerium, Annie, Kruder & Dorfmeister, and for good measure, some good ol' fashioned swing music. 0 Share this post Link to post
Mattfrie1 Posted June 15, 2010 TheUltimateDoomer said:Mainstream sucks monkeyfuck. QFT Not that I've ever DJ'ed a party, but my playlist would definitely include music from The Prodigy, KMFDM, Rammstein, Junkie XL, The Crystal Method, Front Line Assembly, Nine Inch Nails, Skinny Puppy, and many more artists in the techno and industrial metal genres. But that's just my personal preference... :) 0 Share this post Link to post

Girl talk is decent, but still not great dance music. Then again, the guy I'm putting the playlist together for (going away party for friend) likes the following song/video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_RjMSWhGWak&feature=related 0 Share this post Link to post

Bank Posted June 15, 2010 You could always play one of Bank's very own lounge classics. 0 Share this post Link to post
Maes Posted June 15, 2010 "Party" and "Dance" makes me think of this. Some people -especially from the US- need to realize that "partying" doesn't mean playing only some kind of rock/metal/headbangin', at last in good old pinko commie Europe :-p 0 Share this post Link to post
