Kyka Posted July 8, 2010 Am looking for a good sound editing tool. I have a big bunch of cool freeware generator/computer wav's, and I want to cut short sections from those .wav's to use for ambient sound effects in my doom levels. Any suggestions on a good (freeware or otherwise) program for editing/chopping up sound files like this? Thanks guys. 0 Share this post Link to post
Mechadon Posted July 8, 2010 I rarely do any sort of sound editing, but when I do, I use Audacity. Seems to work pretty well, especially given it's free. Maybe it'll work out well enough for you since you just need to chop up some .wav files. 0 Share this post Link to post
Nomad Posted July 8, 2010 Yeah, Audacity is probably your best bet if you just need to chop wav's up. 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest Posted July 11, 2010 Grrr. My compy is currently having issues: (Read: is dead, dead, f*#^$&ing dead), so I can't actually check this out right now. But rest assured I will get to it. Thanks for the replies guys. Appreciated :) 0 Share this post Link to post
