Where Can I Find a Library of Doom's Sound Effects?

Failing that, does anyone know how to extract sounds from a WAD?

I want to put together the additional sounds I need to extend Revnant100's Classic Sounds Pack to Ressurection of Evil, but I looked all over the internet and I can't find any Doom II sounds. I need sounds for the Super Shotgun and for the Hell Knight.

Actually....no need to torture yourself with that. Just use XWE and extract/modify anything you want from the WAD files directly.

If you're looking for sound effects in general, there are sites where you can download, for a little fee, royalty free sound effects. For example, soundsnap.com. You can test-listen to the sounds before downloading them. ;)

Thanks for the links, but I'm after the original sounds, compression and all.

And thanks for linking me to XWE. CLI's are good for networking and programming, but not good for looking through what's essentially a big folder. Hooray for the GUI.
