A little error by Mr. Olivera (he should be sleeping when he updates the site).

ok I guess Its an error.

Also...

Map07 UV Speed 1:11
exe: PrBoom-Plus 2.5.0.7

A much faster UV Speed that beats Revved's by technically 16 seconds. Was trying to go under kimo_xvirus UVmax run but alas I'm not skilled enough -_-;

Map05 UV Max in 6:43

You are known as an UV Speed specialist, capable of breaking solid records done by the very best players in history. But I must say that you are just as good in executing UV Max runs, including some long and heavy ones. You showcase a championly level of strength/optimization in true violent fights, rather than just in little subtle sprints.

UA05-643 is not an exception. The imposing set of Doomworld's modern records of 2010 would be incomplete without this demo.

Map 07 -fast in 1:38. Did this a couple of days ago but tried to improve this first exit run. All times ended up slower than this but will aim for 1:27 another day. NOTE: Wasn't sure whether to upload here or in miscellaneous demos so put it here.

It's unfortunate but sometimes great wads don't get the demo love they deserve because one person sets the initial demo time at such high standards (which isn't necessarily a bad thing). I'd love to do some UV-Max for UAC Ultra but Kimo set the bar so ridiculously high on the 1st submission that nobody will attempt to beat them.

Thanks for the idea! I chose beating Kimo's 5:30 for my 149th demo entry :)

So, MAP03 UV Max in 3:59.

Nice improvements! I rewatched kimo's demo 1st to try and guess where the improvements would come from and you caught them all and some.

I think we are very lucky to have extremely dedicated players like Artem. Always a pleasure to see a new demo!

I love the grandeur of phrasings in the text files and elsewhere. It gives demo-recording the air of a very serious and sacred endeavor. For example, no one else would describe routing and practicing as "productive research work". I can think of so many examples of this -- even the simple "hard-worked" is a weighty phrase. It makes me very excited about watching demos, and yes, it's great to have people like SAV88 in the community.

Thanks for the cool comments! I have selected a different classic WAD for my 150th demo (coming sooner or later in my next Dooming year), but I can suggest some of Kimo's other maxes which shouldn't be too hard for other UAC Ultra fans to beat by more than a few seconds. For example, the MAP02 record can be upgraded with picking up more bullet boxes to use the chaingun where SG is slow/awkward, and UA08-918 is easily beatable with more aggressive rushing past enemies. Not to mention MAP10 which can go FAR under 10 minutes with a detailed plan of movement and BFG blast distribution (including Phml's tactics mentioned in Kimo's textfile).

EDIT (September 18): Sorry for such a delay, I'm just starting to get enough free time for working on #150.

You should take a shot at the doom2 uv-max record I think you can do it....

Heh, I'm not sure about that quite yet. It's certainly a future possibility, though.
