scythe x stuff

Upon finishing playing through these 10 levels of this wad, I wonder what happened that it's progress simply stopped. Considering the huge success of s1 and s2, this one had pretty much potention to become yet another masterpiece. Was there any official withdraw of creation of this?

Also, on the completely other note, has anyone tried playing maps 31/32? Yes, they are still those wolfenstein doom2 maps, but... well try it yourself, I won't ruin the surprise.

Doom wads take time to make. I'm sure Erik Alm is still tinkering with this.

I haven't looked at levels 31/32 but since Scythe X has some DeHackEd work and custom sprites I'll assume that the Nazis are screwed up somehow.

I asked earlier if anyone knew Erik's whereabouts, I don't think he has posted during 2010 at all, but got no replies. Nice find in lvl 31 btw, that stuff was just lol. :p

Yeah I'm also hoping that Scythe X is still in development. Scythe 1 and 2 were fantastic megawads.

Scythe 2 was incomplete for a long time before Erik adds the last levels. Do not worry, I'm sure he will come and finish this as soon as he will have time and motivation.

Yes, the others said well. Scythe X is under development. (OFF: I hope, there'll be more planet maps between s3-s6; I wish some natural maps after 10 basement levels)
