What MONITOR do you DooM on?

What monitor does your gaming rig have, and what's it set to (rez-wise)?

Me, I have an HP Pavilion f70, 17" Flat-Panel, set to 1024x768, and DooM at 640x480.

An IBM 15" LCD and I Doom at 1600x1200 when possible.

A KDS 17 incher. Not really generic but definitely a bargain monitor. Looks great though.

I try to maintain a correct 320x200 aspect ratio when I Doom. That's kinda difficult, actually, so I usually end up at 640x400 or 1024x768.

1992ish ctx monitor

i keep the win desktop at 1024x768, 43hz, but I play doom in 320x200 or 60480, depending on how fast or slow the level is.

I've got a 15" or a 17" (I forgot which) set to 1024 x 768. My DvD program is all bitchy for some reason recently. I have to turn the res to 800x600 to get it to work, then it turns it back to normal when it's done, which is odd but good. Oh well...

17" MV720 compaq monitor (Real shitty), it's set to 1024x768 but I play doom in 320x200.

I use a shitty Proview 17" set to 1024*768.
I run DooM in 640*480.

Since I have a VooDoo3 with TVout I run DooM on my 28" TV sometimes.
VooDoo3 was the fist GFXcard with Tvout, so it doesn´t work that well.

A 6 year old Packard Bell 14" (13.5 viewable), running 1152x864 60Hz in Windows and Doom at 640x480.

eMachines 17". It's set to 800x600, and I never play Doom higher than the same (on some ports I have to have it at 640x480 to run).

heh i dunno what mine is, its 17 inches, 1600*1200 for destop and i play doom at like 1024*768 or higher, depending on how i feel

i think this thread belong to poll forum.

mine is mitsubishi flat 17" set at 1024*768.i play doom at 800*600 .

Not really, there are so many possible combinations that they would be impossible to fit on a poll.

I like to play Doom on 800x600 in software mode. 1024x768 in gl mode.


and 1024x768 for other games.

and I play Hexen II and Quake 1 in 1600x1200

I Doom on a 19" Gateway monitor. It looks nice, but it's hard to get out of its little cubby and carry anywhere. Not very good for LAN parties...

A 17 inch Proton monitor. What can I say, I paid twice as much for more bells and whistles! ;)

A 17" Samtron75e @ 1024x768 @85hz,ZDoom@1024x768,Legacy@512x384.Also I sometimes TV out into a 32" Sony widescreen but the resolution's crap compared with the monitor of course.

A 17" Lifetec thingy. Desktop's at 1280x960, I play Doom Legacy at 1024x768.

I finally got rid of my 6 year old 15" and got a Samtron 96P 19" monitor. I have my desktop at 1280x1024 and I play doom (and all other games) at 1024x768.

19" perfect contrast 1600x1200 @ 75hz in 16,777,216 colors.

Depressing 15" at 800x600 with 32b colour, I forget what res I play DOOM in.

I have a 17 inch Diamond View monitor. I have my desktop on 1280x1024, play software ZDoom on 640x480, and OpenGl games on the highest possible (usually 1280x1024)

When I get my computer upgraded though, I'll probably be playing software ZDoom on 1280x1024...
