Descent into the Absolute

Hello, citizens of Doomworld! It's been a long time since I last visited this place!

I just realized that my deathmatch WAD (first officially released WAD for that matter) for Skulltag didn't get as much recognition as I wanted, so I'll increase its chances and post about it here also! :P

Good stuff. I really liked the look of this. Pity there is no Single Player, as I haven't seriously deathmatched for years.

But the level hsas a well spaced look to it. Good layout and design. Couple of minor things I would pick on, but don't mind me. Looks great.

Good work :) the purple sky on the first picture is... interesting :D the blood skybox with the baron's shadow is also interesting

Do you finished that already? Because if yes, it seems a great DM WAD, if not, it WILL BE a great DM WAD :D

Ala people are still not able to make something like a "panel" in Doom2 (2 windows over each other), everyone is still keen on making his/her WAD as realistic as he/she is able to.

It would be interesting to convert these levels to single player levels, though people may feel that I'm uploading the same thing all over again. Something to think about, at least. :)

It wouldn't be hard to accomplish. However, I wanted to keep it simple with this WAD. Usually every other map I start on eventually get chucked in the recycle bin because I put too much overdetail and fancy features into the FIRST ROOM of the map. Therefore I decided to trudge through low ground with this WAD. Simple with decent amount of detail. :P
