Knitting and doom mapping are really similar. When you don't really know how to do it, you have to spend hours fixing it.

You gotta stop doing that thinking stuff, it only gets you into trouble. :P

Maybe if I was able to knit a miniscule floppy disk icon into the corner of my cardigan I'd be able to see the comparison. That way I could press down on it every now and then to spawn additional backups in case my current cardigan burns in a log fire or crashes because I'm accidentally editing it simultaneously with XKE.

you should knit a little color palette box too, that way you can have as many cardigans of different colors as you want.

Running on that logic, you could say that coding or painting or sketching or wiring or building or fixing a car or [...] or video editing are like Doom mapping.
