General Rainbow Bacon Posted December 26, 2010 Knitting and doom mapping are really similar. When you don't really know how to do it, you have to spend hours fixing it. This is gonna get helled in about 5 posts isn't it :P 0 Share this post Link to post
PRIMEVAL Posted December 26, 2010 You gotta stop doing that thinking stuff, it only gets you into trouble. :P 0 Share this post Link to post
Alfonzo Posted December 26, 2010 Maybe if I was able to knit a miniscule floppy disk icon into the corner of my cardigan I'd be able to see the comparison. That way I could press down on it every now and then to spawn additional backups in case my current cardigan burns in a log fire or crashes because I'm accidentally editing it simultaneously with XKE. 0 Share this post Link to post
General Rainbow Bacon Posted December 26, 2010 you should knit a little color palette box too, that way you can have as many cardigans of different colors as you want. 0 Share this post Link to post
Xeros612 Posted December 26, 2010 Running on that logic, you could say that coding or painting or sketching or wiring or building or fixing a car or [...] or video editing are like Doom mapping. 0 Share this post Link to post
General Rainbow Bacon Posted December 26, 2010 true enough, but making the comparison with knitting is funnier. 0 Share this post Link to post
