IDKFA - Meat Doom

Howdy. My apologies if this belongs in the Doom videos thread; it's not exactly what you'd call a gameplay video, and I think it's worth a thread of its own... here's E1M1, recreated (surprisingly faithfully!) with meat. You can skip to 30 seconds to see the Doom segment, but the whole video is worth watching.

Simply. Fucking. Epic.

I recall a four-year-old referring to Doom as the meat-cut game. I guess the chainsaw pick-up message had quite an impact on some people.

All right, now we're getting to the meat of the matter.

Though, being a purist, the inaccuracies irked me a bit. Pretty cool still.

I love the anglerfish BFG but a chain-gun made of rotating hotdogs would have been perfect.

For all those that can't see it, try viewing it in fullscreen and standing at least 2-3 feet away from the screen.

Heh. Kinda cool, but it was hard to focus as to what was going on, and when I focus too much, I get nautious.

Actually, now that I've viewed it in normal size from about five feet away with my bad eye, I can see something that looks kind of like a doom level.

its hard to follow. If it weren't for the sounds I wouldnt be able to see what was going on. Tell me if I got this right.

Doomguy holding the pistol runs toward the first door;
Berserk punches a zombie man standing in front of it;
Blows up the 3 zombiemen in the computer terminal with a rocket launcher;
mows down zombie men and stuff with chaingun in the zigzag room;
Opens door to the last room before the exit switch;
BFG's everything;
End.

I'm pretty sure he shotguns the first zombie, other than that, yeah, you're spot on.

That meat level actually reminded me of some "TC" porn PWADs that replaced every flat and texture with random porn images. It was not as gory as having raw meat and giblets, but still, seeing nasty pixelated and dithered skin tones that looked waaaay wrong intermixed with nasty pixelated hairy vulvas all over the place (including the sky!) was equally disgusting.

Cool as the Doom part is, it's all about the guy hadoukening the girl back up the slide.

Is that music and sound effects from a known Doom version or mod? They sound fucking badass.

Wow, this is brilliant.

It starts with streetfighter and ends with bubble boy.
But which are the two games before the doom recreation?

That nintendo arcade game followed by the girl on the slide?

The car race game reminded me strongly of Burnin' Rubber, but that may have been simply because most arcade racing game at the time were like this.
