baronofheck82 Posted January 14, 2011 I'm using Doom Builder, and I'm trying to make a plain-Jane vanilla (Ultimate) Doom level. I have the iwad set to Doom.wad, yet when I try to test the map in ZDoom, ZDoom tells me that there is no Player 1 start, despite the fact that there IS a Player 1 start in the map. What gives? 0 Share this post Link to post
Chopkinsca Posted January 14, 2011 Make sure all of the player1 start thing's arguments are set to 0. This is the only thing I could think of that would have such an effect. 0 Share this post Link to post
Gez Posted January 14, 2011 If it is a "plain-Jane vanilla (Ultimate) Doom level" it's probably Doom format so the thing shouldn't even have arguments... 0 Share this post Link to post
Catoptromancy Posted January 14, 2011 Maybe the player start is set to a certain skill level. You can make player spawn in different places depending on skill. But if player start is only tagged as -skill 2, it wont exist in -skill 3 and 4. 0 Share this post Link to post
Gez Posted January 14, 2011 Actually, player starts ignore skill levels. (Which is in itself a problem sometimes.) 0 Share this post Link to post
