Slade 3 texture saveing problem

Whenever I open the Slade texture editor and change a texture or make a new one, nothing that I did is saved once I exit. Am I being a dumbass and missing something, or is this a real problem?

Depends. Are you clicking the "Save changes" button before closing the texture editor? And the "Save file" button before closing SLADE 3?

It doesn't let me click "save changes" button for textures, and this happens without me leaving Slade 3.

Slade should ask if you want to save changes, just like for any other lump.

Are you trying to edit the textures in an IWAD? (doom2.wad etc)

No, just a new wad.
