elic Posted April 13, 2011 I've been playing a lot of Duke 3D over the past week, and I tried using the Build editor. I looked at a list of controls, and it seems like a lot of them use keys only on extended keyboards, which sucks because I use a laptop. It doesn't seem like there's any way to change the key setup, so I'm wondering if there's any modern versions of the engine with it. 0 Share this post Link to post
Mithran Denizen Posted April 13, 2011 Mapster32 (which comes with eDuke32) might be able to do this, but I'm too lazy to check myself. The mapster32.cfg file has a bunch of sections on keyboard binding stuff though, so you might be able to change them around. The BUILD editor in general always seemed very unfriendly to me, so I'm not going to investigate it any further. Personally (though more for 3D modeling, in my case), I just bought a USB number pad extension thing for $4.00, and it works great for the times that I can't get a full keyboard. 0 Share this post Link to post
