So I'm having a problem with see-through sidedefs...

I'm trying to create a map for Boom and I'm having a problem with see-through sidedefs.

What I'm trying to do is supposed to look like this:



This is what it looks like ingame:



Anyone know how to fix this?

Differentiate the sectors on the front and back sides of the line. You can do this imperceptibly by adding 1 (yes, adding, specifically) to the brightness level of one side or the other.

This is caused by visplane merging, BTW. Changing the light level as essel suggested stops the VPs from merging across the 2S line and allowing the texture to remain unclipped ;)
