SyntherAugustus Posted June 1, 2011 Apparently Super Meat Boy's "Enter the Unknown" uses Doom named difficulty levels. http://steamcommunity.com/id/blackfishmd/screenshot/596938569445716751?tab=public 0 Share this post Link to post
geo Posted June 1, 2011 Super Meat Boy... I bought the game for PC and even though my PC can run Oblivion... Super Meat Boy runs horribly slow and the controls are delayed so I can't get past a few levels in :-( Makes me sad. 0 Share this post Link to post
Reisal Posted June 1, 2011 Blatent copyright(?) infringement or the developer(s) is/are Doom fans? 0 Share this post Link to post
geo Posted June 1, 2011 They're Doom fans. Minecraft has the phrase Phobos Anomaly on occassion when you start it. I'm sure you can't copyright words in a menu. 0 Share this post Link to post
geo Posted June 1, 2011 That game has a lot of parody. Ninja Gaiden too. But parody is legal, while the menu thing is just theivery. 0 Share this post Link to post
Technician Posted June 2, 2011 I don' think anything will come of it. I'd hope not anyway. Doom has always been a franchise where it's creators aren't trying to ostracize it's fans. 0 Share this post Link to post
wildweasel Posted June 2, 2011 It'd be kind of hypocritical if id went after these guys for using these, considering "Ultra-Violence" comes from A Clockwork Orange. 0 Share this post Link to post
