Jiang Zemin dead?

Jiang Zemin dead? Do you believe it or not?

The communists said that Jiang Zemin still isn't dead, the news are just lying! So what do you all think ahout it?

Actually I can say Jiang Zemin is already dead. His brain was already stopped functioning, if that so then it can considered "dead". I really suspect about communist's action. If Jiang Zemin still alive, then why should they need to be acting so mysterious?

If the chinese media can't or won't report on his actual condition, I guess no one will know until they do. If he wasn't in attendance for the big 90th birthday celebration of the party, I'd be a little suspicious too.

Why would the government want us to believe he is alive? I haven't seen an explanation for that yet. I also have no way to judge whether they are being honest here. I suppose they could show him as alive if he really is.

That seems to apply to pretty much every politician.

Inb4 Monty Python's "Dead parrot sketch". If anything, the Chinese Government's information blackout is lending credibility to the rumors.

Communist regimes have an established precedent for hiding the deaths of their leaders for days at a time.

Couple that with a fresh barrage of anti-communist propaganda I've seen spewed mostly on anglo-saxon media (particularly vs China), and the equation is balanced.

"Yeah, they may be safe from all that Goldman-Sachs and sovereign debt and unemployment bullshit, but they don't have democracy and religious freedom! Oh woes!". Coincidence? I think not.

lol this is actually the "Death Definition with Chinese characteristics". If a person have its brain not functioning, he's not dead. If his heart stop bumping, he's not dead also. If his organ all stop functioning, he's still not dead yet. When is the time of death? The communist may tell you.

Since there's "Socialism with Chinese characteristics", therefore politic in China now are actually "Politic with Chinese characteristics". and there's also "Human Rights with Chinese characteristics", "Facebook with Chinese characteristic", "Youtube with Chinese characteristics" etc.

I think communists will announce Jiang's death ---------- right after a few weeks later of 1st October, which is China's National Day.

You know, I'd rather be the citizen of a proud country that has a vision and work opportunities like (communist) China, and which is reasonably shielded against the cancers that are killing capitalism like "evaluation agencies" and speculators. Today is a great "I told ya so" moment for the old-school theoreticians of socialism and marxism.

Gimme that, and fuck religious freedoms and the free market.

This old (American) cartoon which so romantically tells about the advantages of capitalism, conveniently fails to mention the great depression (which was also the product of speculation) at the time, and all those financial attacks that are possible only in capitalism and yet have nothing to do with the idyllic freedoms/rights/possibilities so romantically depicted.

Once again, I'd take a thousand goose-stepping regimes that know their shit than a shadowy, grey social/medium/progressive/liberal something that doesn't work.

'america is...security from unlawful search and seizure'
HAHAHAHAHA...ah, well, it might have been true 60 years ago I guess.

Is he on life support? That's what the HongKong media reported from "inside sources" (aka spais) so I'm going to go with that.

It seems as if China (and some other country that is BEST) is apt at making their leaders such demigods that their death should never happen and would be considered ludicrous at best.

It's still true - sort of, when law enforcement screws up their friends in the judiciary change the law. The system's probably no less fair than it was 60 years ago (at the time of the McCarthy witch-hunts) before the civil rights movement started setting down the legal framework that's currently being dismantled.
