Ultimate Demon Posted March 24, 2002 I have downloaded many high res textures but i can't make them work with Jdoom that supports high res textures. Does somebody know how to do it? 0 Share this post Link to post
Arno Posted March 25, 2002 I downloaded the hires textures from http://switch.to/doom2textures and extracted them into the /Doomsday/data/jdoom/textures dir. It worked with the latest version of JDoom. Note that a lot of textures aren't made hires yet. You actually have to search for the new hires textures. 0 Share this post Link to post

Zro Posted March 26, 2002 And you need to rename every floor/ceiling texture so, that there is "flat-" in the beginning. (like flat-flat1) 0 Share this post Link to post
Darkstalker Posted March 26, 2002 On freedoom wasnt't the texture pack hi-res? They seems the same. If they are, then download the texture wad on freedoom and add the wad when you play on jdoom. You will not have to rename the files with "flat" because all the textures are in a wad. 0 Share this post Link to post

Zro Posted March 27, 2002 Yes it's not. You just simply add "flat-" in the beginning. Some texture names have this already. 0 Share this post Link to post
