rofl... the mlg managers removed 2gd from the cast, because he made a comment about dreamhack. the ingame sounds are almost muted when casters speak and they keep cutting to that metrosexual dude even during maps, because we need him to tell us that skype failed again (yeah, we didn't notice the minute with no casting).

ql is somewhat struggling with dwindling playerbase and its community is trying to popularize it, so i'm sympathetic for obvious reasons.

I'm marginally interested, but not nearly enough to plan my day around seeing it live as it happens. Maybe if you post a YT link when it's over?

Unfortunately the guy writing seems to be dumb as a brick.

The only highlight so far is Carmack saying the Doom 3 source code is being released this year.

Brink is a breath of fresh air compared to all of the CoD games being thrown at us. It was actually slightly different. Anyways, we probably won' hear anything about Doom 4 until Rage is out and after their first few sets of DLC.
