Creating a new melee weapon (knife)




I'm trying to create a new weapon in gzdoom, a combat knife. I've captured all the image frames I need for an attack animation in 35 fps and made the backgrounds transparent. The images are in .png format 1280x720.


Unfortunately i'm now stuck and have no idea how to proceed, I tried importing the frames to Slade but I don't see any option for scaling the images.


Any help would be appreciated.

Scaling is done with the TEXTURES lump.

To get unstuck, take a look at the knife in the REALM666 ARMORY

Thanks, I managed to create a really nice attack animation eventually. I resized the sprites manually to scale with 240 y.
