heyyyy everyone, this is one of my favorite games, it was really fun to play. i also like old doom and other game that are the same art style.

does anyone know any games like system shock 2 any sci fi games like doom as well?

System Shock 1, obviously.

 

Dead Space 1 (2 and 3 are also good but they're much more action-oriented)

Bioshock 1 and 2 (you can skip Infinite)

Alien: Isolation

Prey 2017 (the closest we're going to get to a System Shock 3 until Otherside Ent. get around to making the real one.)

Thief series (the first two games use the same engine as System Shock 2)

Dishonored series (essentially a mashup of System/Bioshock, Deus Ex and Thief)

 

And if you're looking for old-school 2.5D sci-fi shooters, you can't go wrong with the Marathon trilogy. I also want to direct your attention to the obscure great that is Eradicator which you can find on GoG and Steam I believe.

Ultima Underworld is basically the spiritual predecessor to System Shock. You don't need to chronologically play through the Ultima series up to and including Ultima 6 in order to understand it, but it helps.

Also Arx Fatalis, which is Ultima Underworld 3 in all but name.

I almost recommended those two, but to be honest I dislike them both. I find them incredibly clunky and they haven't aged well.

 

But that does remind me (rather circuitously but still) -- the newer Fallout games, particularly 3 and New Vegas. Say what you will about their RPG elements, the Deus Ex inspiration is not only obvious, but has been stated outright by one of the FO3 devs.
