Weird stuff in sky transfers

So I was working on my level set, implementing some sky transfers. However, upon that, the sky texture ended up tiling. I don't know what I did wrong. I tested this with GLBoom+ and this is what I see.

Use a sky that tiles properly. I wanted to practice making non-tiling skies, so here are two new versions of that one, one that is smooth horizontally, and one that is smooth both horizontally and vertically. The horizontal-only one looks better, as the mirroring is more obvious.

And by the way, you can just download Mechadon's box of skies and use one of those (with credit). It has red skies that look similar and are far better than all of these.

The GIMP image editor has a Make Seamless feature.  It works very well with any organic looking images to make them tile.
