JayKayFour Posted May 30, 2018 So for a little under 2 months, I've been working on a map for Doom 2. Last night before I went to sleep, I saved my map and shut down my computer. Today, I open up Doom Builder to work on it again a bit more and I find that no maps are recognized. So, I open the WAD in Slade3 and see that there is nothing inside of it. Help? Below is a link to download the WAD in case anyone needs the file itself to fix it.https://jumpshare.com/v/Ut709jcWrDnrTKTmaRCj (I feel like this is probably common and I'm just stupid for not finding how to fix it.) 0 Share this post Link to post
Linguica Posted May 30, 2018 This WAD file appears to be nothing but zeroes. It is completely empty. I hope you have a backup or Doom Builder has a backup in a temp directory somewhere. 0 Share this post Link to post
Diabolución Posted May 30, 2018 It’s totally zeroed except for the PWAD header itself. https://i.imgur.com/hYG2DUl.png Quote 0 Share this post Link to post
Scotty Posted May 30, 2018 Try the steps given in this thread... it might work but it's not a guarantee. 0 Share this post Link to post
kb1 Posted May 30, 2018 If that doesn't work, you can do a search across the hard drive for files modified yesterday, and you may find an older version. 1 Share this post Link to post
