GZDoom sunlight?

How so? Just casted light or an actual bloom effect? You can get clever with small sectors and use absolute brightness to create a light gradient and then allow GZDoom bloom to handle the bloom effect.

Do you use specular/PBR textures?

 

Dynamic lights, including the recent spot lights, should be useful for simulating sunlight.

I was thinking of a large scale outdoor scene. Dynamic lights are not the answer on a complex scene, as they only seem to cast shadows from one sided walls. I think this is just something I'll have to live without, or cheat and spam hundreds of sectors to simulate it.
