MTF Sergeant Posted August 20, 2018 After making a few maps via Snapmap on Doom'16, I found it much easier to make levels via pre-programmed prefabs, instead of directly making sectors and linedefs on SLADE and Doom Builder. Is there any map editor for classic Doom, which functions like Snapmap? If not, is anyone up for having an editor like that? 0 Share this post Link to post
Nevander Posted August 20, 2018 No editor that I know of but I believe GZDoom Builder supports prefabs. 1 Share this post Link to post
Aquila Chrysaetos Posted August 20, 2018 GZDoom Builder and Doom Builder X both should support prefabs, as they both inherited from Doom Builder 2, which did support them. If you want to do that, then you should check the prefabs folder in the idgames archive. https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/prefabs/ 0 Share this post Link to post
