The most popular meme on the internet right now is about a baby eating sugar, and I ̶d̶o̶n̶'̶t̶ ̶g̶e̶t̶ ̶i̶t̶ can't stop watching it

Recommended Posts

I normally understand the appeal behind popular memes, but this one just beyond me. Why can't people stop obsessing over this creepy baby with an unhealthy addiction to sugar?

edit: After watching this garbage for about 20 minutes straight, I can say that I now understand it all too well. It's just another one of those really stupid memes that inevitably impregnates itself in your brain if you watch it long enough. I'll be happy when I forget that this is a thing that exists.

I love you.

I miss the days when the internet was stereotyped as being the largest source of free porn. Now it's the largest source of shared human stupidity.

The only meme here is this thread; what is any different between this and Dave and Ava?

Not sure its really the best song for kids, It would probably be banned under the sugar tax rules :-)

Gratefully that is the first time I've seen that heinous shit and will hopefully be the last.

For whatever the reason, Billion Surprise Toys are quite tenacious when it comes to removing one of the most popular videos in the series off of Youtube. But every time they terminate one of the videos, someone else instantaneously puts it back up. The link in my original post is dead, but this one works fine (for now).

I find it strange that Billion Surprise Toys are going to so much effort to remove remixed material, video reviews, parodies, reuploads, etc off of the internet. You'd think they'd be happy for the free exposure that they're getting, but I guess not.

What’s even weirder... this whole thing seems to be a ripoff of this obviously intentionally creepy video from 2015:

This is a reupload but the video has been around for several years now. I wonder why it’s just now boomed? It’s mindless dreck that isn’t entertaining or amusing at all..  Oh well.

That isn't an official video from Billion Surprise Toys, but rather a fan creation. I've come to discover that this was a modestly popular meme back in 2015. Billion Surprise Toys have recently put out a fresh batch of these videos, so the meme has experienced something of a resurgence over the past week and is bigger than ever now, even though BST are constantly scrambling to remove mirrors, reviews, parodies, clips, etc off of Youtube and Twitter.

I don't think there's anything remotely positive about the meme, but when you watch the official videos, there's an unpleasantly addicting quality that emerges after repeat viewings.

Just trying to get this straight, was the video I posted not the original incarnation of this weird meme? I don't recall any earlier version than that, but did BST perhaps make an original "non creepy" version back in 2015 or prior? From the minor amount of looking I can be bothered to do, it appeared that the creepy shit I posted was the original from 2015, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was a parody of an even older "non creepy" version from BST (or some other similar cheap-3D-video factory).

@Doomkid It would appear that BST did not, in fact, create the original video. The origin of the meme dates back to 2009 with the video down below. There have been several derivative works since then, but BST started uploading their own derivatives in 2015. This makes it even more peculiar that they're going to great lengths to remove a lot of the content from the internet.

Thank you for your research my good man. I can now rest easy knowing the origins of the "baby eating sugar" meme!

Remember when internet fads were songs like "All Your Base" and "The Ultimate Showdown" which were tremendously silly but still awesome, and weren't endlessly deep rabbit holes into batshit fucking insanity?

Why the fuck is the hitler superhero video 46 mins long? 46 seconds alone just cost me a lot of IQ points.

The other video was shocking as well.

Perhaps annihilating our atmosphere and turning the planet in another Venus would be a good shout after all.
